How to claim
Online through your TfL contactless or Oyster account, or call 0343 222 1234. You'll need your ticket (or a photo of it, or your booking reference), the date and time of your train, and where you travelled from and to.
How you can be paid
- Pay as you go credit on Oyster
- Bank transfer
- Back to your contactless card
Good to know
- TfL doesn't use Delay Repay. If you're delayed 30 minutes or more you get back the pay as you go single fare for that journey.
- Delays outside TfL's control aren't covered: strikes, bad weather, security alerts and engineering works.
- If you changed trains, claim from the company whose train caused the first delay.
