How to claim
Online at delayrepay.greatnorthernrail.com, or by post. You'll need your ticket (or a photo of it, or your booking reference), the date and time of your train, and where you travelled from and to.
How you can be paid
- Bank transfer (BACS)
- PayPal
- e-Voucher
- National Rail vouchers
- Charity donation
Good to know
- Day returns are paid as a share of the fare for the delayed leg, which works out the same as the return figures shown here.
- Missed connections count only if you allowed enough time to change and held a through ticket.
- If you changed trains, claim from the company whose train caused the first delay.
