How to claim
Online through Avanti's Delay Repay portal, or with the paper form. Advance tickets booked direct can be claimed automatically if you register with your booking email. You'll need your ticket (or a photo of it, or your booking reference), the date and time of your train, and where you travelled from and to.
Good to know
- Compensation isn't usually paid for planned engineering works.
- Delays caused by another train company are passed to that company.
- If you changed trains, claim from the company whose train caused the first delay.
